Meet the Children Jury!
KinoKino Festival has chosen the members of the Children Jury who will present awards to one feature film and one short film. Let’s meet them!
Viktor Mijatović is ten and was born in a circus family. He is a third-grader at a school of music, learning to play the cello, and he plays basketball. He goes to the cinema often; the last film he saw was The New Kid at Zagreb Film Festival, which he loved.
Rok Jakopović Potz is ten and has two sisters. He is an excellent student and scout, he practices golf and likes to read books and comics. In his free time, he likes to go to the cinema, play wii or watch YouTube. His favourite film is Matrix, and he loves all sci-fi films, comedies and horrors.
Laura Radičević is twelve and sixth-grader.In her free time she does tennis and acting. Comedies are her favourite genre. In 2015 she was a jury member for the Best European Children’s Film Award, presented by the European Film Academy.
Katarina Jukić is fourteen and was born in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Out of her particular curiosity, in fifth grade she took up amateur film and radio classes. As a lead editor she worked on many films which garnered a host of awards and honours throughout the years.
Karla Škrlec is an eight-grader who loves travelling and listening to music. ide u osim razred, obožava putovati i slušati glazbu. She is practicing cheerleading, plays the guitar and tamburica and she is taking classes of Spanish, English and German. She loves pop rock and Latin American electro music.
Lovro Svetina is fourteen and from Zagreb. ima 14 godina i rođen je u Zagrebu. He is fluent in English and German. He loves to watch films, especially action movies and horrors. Since he was in fifth grade he has been active in the school’s film section and in seventh grade he actively began making films for the school. His greatest success is an honour he received at the national film festival in Sinj for the film he wrote, Copy Paste.
Lorna Ilić is twelve and practices dancing, attends a drama section at the Zagreb Youth Theatre, and learns German. She learned to play the oboe for three years in a school of music.When she was younger, her teacher used to make films with the class and took them to the cinema. Two years in a row they attended Bib for Kids and made a short film for the festival, as well.
