The screenwriting workshop From Story to Script takes place for the second year. The film Lasagne, based on the namesake script, was the most successful last year’s project by participant Vanja Čirjak, made at the last edition of Zagreb Film Festival, and is the first film to be created with the help of three festivals after almost half a year of intense work, writing and preparations. At this year’s workshop we will again focus on the basics of screenwriting, but instead of creative writing, this time we turn to adaptation. We will use existing works and stories and examine them as potential film stories and scripts. As always, learning the techniques and methods of screenwriting will be fun, playful and cheerful and our event will stretch throughout two days.
